Smooth Steppers of Memphis (SSOM) is a non-profit organization that has served the community for  over 10 years by offering free Chicago Steppin classes. Chicago Style Steppin is a dance that is “sweeping the nation”. It has actually been a part of the dance communities across the country and has been a staple in the Orange Mound Community for over a decade. During that time Rose and Patrick Moore, head of SSOM, have watched over three thousand members of the Orange Mound and Greater Memphis Community embrace this dance form.
